The glossy finish and glass that extends to the edges of the 1080p touchscreen contribute to the luxurious appearance. When the device is in clamshell mode, the screen's bottom portion folds down under the keyboard part, creating a raised surface on which the user may type. In addition, the display can be rotated through a full 360 degrees into tablet mode and supports the use of a stylus; however, a pen is not included in the package.

In-Game Keyboard and Trackpad

The Dell Inspiron 14 2-in-1 has a keyboard that is of satisfactory quality. Although the keys have a low profile and do not provide a significant amount of travel, when depressed, they provide a pleasing jolt. I did not notice any of the squishiness or wobbliness common in keyboards with a lower price tag. In addition, they produce almost little audible noise and provide two different degrees of illumination.

Audio, Video, and Webcam Surveillance

The 720p camera on the Dell Inspiron 14 2-in-1 is nothing exceptional, much like the webcams found on other Windows laptops. When used in well-lit settings, it can be used for videoconferencing. However, the quality of the video captured is poor when the lighting is poor. The quality of the microphone is not very good either, which results in voices that have a thin tone.

Performance

The performance of the Dell Inspiron 14 2-in-1 is pretty much on par with what one would anticipate from a laptop equipped with an AMD Ryzen 7 5700U CPU. It easily ploughs through multi-threaded work like video encoding, and it seems zippy enough for online surfing and document processing. While switching back and forth between programs, internet tabs, and downloads on my laptop, neither the temperature nor the noise level increased much.
